James Perry Angle

March 2, 1926 — April 6, 2021

James Angle of New Hope Road, Princeton, WV went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2021.  He was the son of the late Ronald Angle and Sue Angle of Crumpler.  Jimmy was a coal miner for 36 years. He was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church of Oakvale.  Jimmy was a veteran of WWII, having served in The United States Navy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Mason Angle and Ronnie Angle.

 

Those left to cherish Jimmy’s memory are his loving and devoted wife Betty of 74 years; one daughter, Debbie Moses;  his grandson, Frank Moses; sister, Noreen Tilley; brothers-in-law life-long friend, George Fizer of Gaffney, SC, and Bill Blankenship and Lou Ann of Thomasville, NC; sisters-in-law, Rosemary Shrewsbury of Van Wyck, SC, and Ella Mae Angle of Lashmeet, WV; special care-givers, Kristy and Kevin Smith; and a host of nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 PM Friday, April 9, 2021 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Smith officiating.  Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens where family and friends will serve as pallbearers and graveside rites will be conducted by the Mercer County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
