Jackie Lee Rash, 76, of Ridgecrest Road, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center.
Born on February 13, 1942 in Bluefield, he was a son of the late Thurman and Laura Dooley Rash. He had been a lifelong resident of Bluefield. He was a member of the Brushfork First Church of God where he was also the Minister of Music, which was the love of his life. Along with his brother and wife, he sang in the Rash Trio which formed in 1972. He had formerly worked for GTE as a field engineer and then also for Acme Food Stores. He was a veteran of the US Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Cecil Rash and a sister, Nancy Nelson.

7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren
Brother: Richard (Thelma) Rash of Bluefield
Several nieces and nephews whom he loved
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Brushfork First Church of God with Rev. Sam Chaffins and Rev. Jimmie Russ officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with his family serving as pallbearers.
Friends may call on Sunday evening from 6-8PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell and at the church on Monday, one hour prior to services.
