Jackie Ellis (Jane Jacqueline Ellis), precious wife, mom, sister, and “Jack Jack,” age 52, resident of Princeton, WV; went to be with her King Jesus on November 15, 2021, in the arms of her daughter at Princeton Community Hospital located in Princeton, WV.
Jackie was born on December 14, 1968, to Earnest and Dorothy Copley in Man, WV. Jackie was a faithful employee of the United States Postal Service in Welch for 30 plus years. Jackie married her high school sweetheart on June 18, 1987, and as promised, had one son, Michael Darrell Ellis, and one daughter, Erica Danielle Ellis. Jackie was the most caring and selfless person to exist. There was never a time where she ever turned anyone down for help, whether it be food, clothing or other necessities or a helping hand or prayer. When she saw a need, she often met it without saying a word or expecting anything in return. This was her ministry. Jackie was a faithful servant of God, a prayer warrior, and helpmate. Jackie loved babies and animals and was devote in making sure that no person or animal went hungry or without. She would carry 50lb bags of dog food to feed strays and worked very closely with rescues to provide loving home and care to the dogs that she saved. She loved to love and show God’s love to everyone. Jackie made the best pancakes, really enjoyed a good movie and some theatre popcorn and loved to minister and praise God every chance she got. She spoke her mind and was a bold servant of God.
Jackie is now nestled safely in the arms of God in her new pain-free body and celebrating with those preceding her in death including her father and mother, her sister and best friend Sherry Mullins, baby sister Tasha Copley, baby brother Toney Copley, and many other friends and family that she has longed to see for some time.
Jackie is survived by her husband Darrell Lynn Ellis, of Princeton, WV, and son Michael Darrell Ellis and Kaylee Stewart of Princeton, WV, daughter Erica Danielle Ellis and Anthony Graham and granddaughter Teigan of Bluefield, WV. She also leaves behind two furbabies Veesta and rescue Toby who was the highlight of her day. She is survived by sisters Rita Lester of Huntersville, NC, and brothers Jerry and Ronald Copley of Worth, WV, and many many friends and family who will miss her deeply.
A service celebrating Jackie’s life will take place at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home located in Bluewell, WV at 3431 Coal Heritage Rd., Bluefield, WV 24701 on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 11:00 AM with Rev.
