Jack Vernon Sorah

Jack Vernon Sorah, Jr, 59, of Pasadena, MD passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020 in Maryland.

Born on March 26^th, 1961 in Baltimore, MD. He is a son of the late Jack Vernon Sorah, Sr, and Libby Sorah of Summerton, SC. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a Stationary Engineer as well as a member of the VFW. Jack loved God, his family, friends, and country. He is greatly loved by all who knew him and his humor, kindness, and strong hands will be tremendously missed.

He is survived by his wife Lisabeth Lindberg Sorah of the home. His mother Libby Sorah of Summerton, SC. A brother Jay Fred Sorah and wife Karen of Texas. Sisters Donna McGuire and husband Greg of Pasadena, MD. Deborah Ann Sorah-Anagaran of Honolulu, HI. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Due to Covid-19 concerns a celebration of life will be scheduled at a future date by the family. Graveside rights will be conducted on Thursday December 10^th, 2020 at 2:30PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park where family and friends will serve as pall bearers. Friends may call on the family at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home from 2:00 – 2:30.
