Idena Rose Mitchell

Idena Rose Mitchell, 66, of Princeton, WV, passed December 24, 2023, at her home.

Born December 2, 1957, in Colorado Springs, CO, she was a daughter of the late Ed Scruggs. Idena worked as a private caregiver and was a member of Free Mission in Christ Church.

In addition to her father, Idena was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Mitchell.

Those left to cherish Idena’s memory are her son, Daniel Scruggs; daughters, Kellie Rosser, Latisha Lewis, Penny Britt, and Donnetta Scruggs; sisters, Drema Cox, Judy Christian, and Mary Jame Riel; and granddaughter, Larissa Taylor.

In keeping with Idena’s wishes she is to be cremated and no public services are to be held.
