Homer Mullins, 81, of Rocky Gap, VA, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at the UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA.
Born on July 2, 1936 in Pilgrim Knob, VA, he was a son of the late Luther and Maxie Osborne Mullins. He had been a resident of Rocky Gap for 45 years and was a retired coal miner and logger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers Hassel, Vern and Roland and two sisters Vinnie Black and Sissy Mullins.

Several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Paul Looney officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
Friends may call on Thursday from 12:00-2:00 at the funeral home.
