Herman Lee Bailey

Herman L. Bailey, Sr., age 74, of Tabernacle Hill, Montcalm, WV, passed away Monday, November 13, 2017 with his loving wife by his side.Born on January 26, 1943, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Bertha Mays. He had been a resident of Montcalm his entire life and was a retired construction worker.He will be lovingly remembered by his loving wife, Faye; a daughter, Sandra Lilly and husband Mark; and three sons, Herman Bailey, Jr. and wife Valerie, Chris Bailey and wife Virginia, and Troy Bailey all of Montcalm. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Bethany, Maranda, Andrew, Eric, and Aaron as well as four great-grandchildren, Emily, Hunter, Nathan, and Brantley. He will also be missed by several very close nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 3:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Preacher Eddie Via officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where his friends and family will be serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Wednesday afternoon from 2:00 – 3:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.
