Helen Jean Brock

Helen Jean Brock, 79, of Bluefield, WV, passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side at Westwood Center.

Born on June 9, 1944 in Davy, WV, she was the daughter of the late Flem and Myrtle Preston Patrick.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Edward Brock; and her sisters, Betty Lockhart and Joann Belcher.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Cindy Keller and husband Jimmy of Bluefield, WV, and Mary Fox and husband Ronnie of Germanton, NC and June Moxley of Sparta, NC; sisters, Sylvia Hunnell of McDowell and Buretta Campbell of Kimball; 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Terry Keller and Rev. Sheri Kernik officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call on Wednesday prior to services, from 1:00-2:00 at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank the Westwood Center staff for the care given to our mom.
