Helen Charlotte Beavers

Helen Charlotte Beavers, 89, of Bluefield, West Virginia passed Friday, June 18, 2021 at her home. Born August 31, 1931 in Yards, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late George and Nannie Fowler Patrick. She retired from the Hills Dept. Store, was a member of Pine Grove Church, and a life-long resident of Bluewell, WV. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Beavers; daughter, Regina Beavers; son, Lynn Franklin Beavers, five sisters, and three brothers.

Those left to cherish Helen's memories are her sons, Ronald (Linda) Beavers of Bluewell, WV; Bobby Beavers of Sandlick, WV; Terry (Lisa) Beavers of Bluewell, WV; daughters, Elaine (Fred) Pennington of Huntersville, NC; Brenda (Jeff) Harshbarger of Princeton, WV; Teresa (Ted) Hatfield of Bluefield, WV; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Minister Gary Lamie officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
