Harold Lee Miller

Harold Lee Miller, 86, of Bluefield, VA, passed Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family.

Born October 4, 1937, in Jenkinjones, WV, he was a son of the late Buster and Mildred Johnson Miller. Harold was retired from Nehi Bottling Co. and Pet Dairy. He was a member of Fairview Christian Community Church in Princeton, WV, and a lifelong member of the NRA. Harold was the owner of Miller's Gun Service. 

In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his first wife, Jacqueline Miller; and three brothers, Junior Miller, Nick Miller, and Glenn Miller. 

Those left to cherish Harold’s memory are his wife, Jean Harless Miller of the home; son, Harold “Sonny” Miller Jr. and wife Vicki of Bluefield, VA; daughter, Barbara Carter and husband Darrell, of North Tazewell, VA; step-sons, Rick Bourne and wife Mae of OH, Dave Bourne and wife Karen of Stanton, and Keith Bourne and wife Kimberly of Stanton; brother, Danny Miller and wife Michelle of Princeton, WV; sisters, Wanda Coe and husband Jim of Bluewell, WV, Delsia Dillon and husband Jim of Anawalt, WV, and Nancy Palmer and husband Jim of Bluewell, WV; grandchildren, Tammy Heffinger and husband Jerry, Timothy Carter, Chase Miller and wife Stacy, Sarah Waddle and husband Joey, Jake Miller, and Alanah Miller; great grandchildren, Andrea Heffinger, Luke Carter, Jared Heffinger, Caleb Waddle, Liam Miller, Finn Miller, and Jacqueline Waddle.

Funeral services will be held, Monday, February 12, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV, with Rev. Larry Dyer and Rev. Blake Bivens officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA, with Timothy Carter, Chase Miller, Jake Miller, Joey Waddle, Jerry Heffinger, Jared Heffinger, Luke Carter, Caleb Waddle, Tommy Melvin serving as pallbearers.

A visitation will be held, Sunday, February 11, 2024, from 6-8 PM at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home.
