Guy Joseph "Joe" Lambert

Gretna..........Guy Joseph “Joe” Lambert, age 76 of Gretna, formerly of Bramwell, West Virginia died Saturday, February 20, 2021 at his residence.     

Born August 31, 1944 in Bluefield, WV, he was a son of the late Joseph Eldridge Lambert and Mildred Jones Lambert.  Joe retried from US Steel and he was a National Guard Veteran.  He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, coon hunting, listening to blue grass music, and spending time on the lake.     

He is survived by two daughters, Sherri Lambert Shelton and husband, Tony of Gretna, and Brittany Lambert and fiancé, Daniel Edwards of Union Hall; three sons, Jody Lambert and wife, Mary of Union Hall, Mike Lambert and wife, Kelly of Roanoke, and Chris Lambert and wife, Beth of Union Hall; one brother, Donald Wiley Hill and wife, Yolanda of Abbs Valley; six grandchildren, Kayla Kelley and fiancé, Ethan Winn, Chase Lambert, Morgan Lambert, Lannie Merchant and husband, Evan, Tucker Sparks, and Charlie Sparks; a special cousin, Donald “Buck” Goins of Bluefield, VA; and the mother of his children, Sharon Lambert of Union Hall.    

            Per his request there will be no public service.
