Geraldine Ann Petrulis

Geraldine Ann Petrulis, 77 of Bramwell, joined her Lord Jesus on May 31, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. She was born on November 17, 1946 in Hamden, CT. Daughter of Gennaro and Felicia (Brignola) DeLucia and sister to Raffaela Tramontano, she graduated from Hamden High School and received a degree at a local community college. She was a funeral director with her father at Frank DeLucia Memorial Funeral Home until his retirement.  Geraldine was an office administrator for several companies.  After retirement, she made her home in Bramwell, WV.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, John Petrulis, her six children; Margaret (Juan) Pesantes of Orlando, FL, John (Catherine) Velleco of Stafford, VA, Brooks (Stephanie) Frybarger of Bluewell, WV, Gerald (Jessica) Frybarger of Key Largo, FL, Joanna Petrulis and Felicia (Rodney) Holcomb both of Bramwell, WV, as well as several nephews and nieces.  In addition to her parents and sister, she was predeceased by late husband Roger Frybarger, nephew Richard Tramontano and great-grandson Luca Velleco.

Geraldine was an avid collector of antiques and co-operator of the Ugly Duckling in Bluefield.  She and her husband John enjoyed preserving their historic Victorian home in Bramwell and especially sharing their home with the community by hosting many tours.  She found great joy in spending time with her 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home on Friday June 7, 2024 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm followed by a funeral service on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 11:00am with Rev. Dewayne Belcher officiating. Burial and graveside will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, WV with family and friends will serving as pallbearers.
