Gerald Brian Browning

Gerald Brian Browning, 57, of Rock, WV passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2024, at WVU Medical Center Bluefield E.R. Born September 20, 1967 in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of Joan Browning Hall and the late Melvin Hall. He lived in McComas most of his life and had worked for Aspen Tree Service and on the Railroad. He enjoyed riding four wheelers and camping on the river. In addition to his father, Gerald was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Myrtle Browning.

 Those left to cherish Gerald’s memory are his mother Joan Hall of Bluefield, WV; son, Justin Browning and wife, Cheyenne of Tazewell, VA; daughter, Stephanie Browning; grandchildren, Vanessa Browning, Taleigha Browning, Karson Browning, Oaklynn Browning, Emberlee Browning, who is expected to be born on October 18, 2024; uncles, Johnny Browning and wife, Hazel, and Timmy Browning; aunts, Elaine Shoemaker and husband, Mike, and Angela Davis. 

 In keeping with Gerald’s wishes, he will be cremated and there will be not services. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Browning family.
