Georgia Carroll Lester

Georgia Carroll Lester, 65, of Princeton, West Virginia passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at her residence.

Georgia was born on February 18, 1954 in Welch, West Virginia to the late Raymond and Anita Tabor Cooper. She had been a resident of Princeton for the past twenty years and was a Christian. Georgia was a retired RN.

She is survived by her husband Garey Lee Lester of the home; two sons, Garey Ray Lester and wife Carol of Princeton, West Virginia and Aaron Lester of Florida; four sisters, Deborah Jones and husband Randy of Raleigh, North Carolina, Julie Parks of Maiden, North Carolina, Sharon Rhodes of Raleigh, North Carolina and Teresa Shrader and husband Ray of Maiden, North Carolina. One aunt Nancy Meadows of Newark, Delaware and four grandchildren, Trevor Lester, Jacob Lester, Carley Lester and Maci Lester.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia with Rev. George Stamper officiating the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The Lester family will receive family and friends on Sunday, January 19, 2020 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
