George Franklin Gillespie

George Franklin Gillespie, 75, of Bluefield, WV, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024 at his home. Born July 10, 1948 in Bluefield, WV, he was a son of the late Everett and Virginia Gillespie. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his late brothers Eddie Gillespie, Bobby Gillespie, Ray Gillespie, and his sisters, Linda Gillespie and Francis Gillespie. 

Those left to cherish George’s memory are his daughter, Alexis Bowling and her husband, James Tuttle, and daughter, Shawna Moore; granddaughter Evie-Rose Bowling; brother Marvin Gillespie; nephews Marvin Lee Gillespie, James Gillespie, John Gillespie and Ethan Gamende; nieces Laura Christian, Jenny Gillespie, Tammy Martin, Robbin Gilly, and Missy Hamm; and sister in law Frankie Gillespie; family friends, Dana and Ronnie Bowling and Valeda Bowling.

A Memorial Service will be conducted 3:00 PM Saturday, February 3rd, 2024 at Grace and Truth Family Ministries. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Gillespie family.
