Gary Michael Helmandollar

Gary Michael “Pork” Helmandollar, 70, of Lorton Lick Road, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at the Beckley VA Medical Center.

Born on October 16, 1949 in Canebrake, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Hester Bowen Helmandollar. He was a veteran serving in the US Army in Vietnam. He was retired from White Tire Service in Tazewell, VA and had also worked with his best friend, John Sharpe.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Bonnie Glass Helmandollar of the home; son, Laben Spaulding and fiancé Sydney Saunders (Pork's BFF) of Princeton; brother, Larry (Patsy) Helmandollar of Davidson, NC; and Linda Helmandollar of Cary, NC.

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, December 9, 2019 at 2:45 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluewell with Rev. Danny Scott officiating. Burial will follow with friends and family serving as pallbearers. Military graveside honors will be conducted by the Mercer County Veterans Honor Guard.

Friends may call Monday, prior to services, from 1:00-2:30 PM at the funeral home.
