Frank Eddie Shupe, 70, of Anawalt, West Virginia went home to be with our lord on February 3rd, 2018. Frank was born on January 4th, 1948 in Elkhorn, WV. Frank was a coal miner for 25 years and spent the majority at #2 in Gary, WV. Frank was an avid fisherman, loved 4-wheeling, racing and his family. Frank was a member of Long Point Missionary Baptist Church.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Mary & Boyd Shupe, his mother and father-in-law, Clowney & Irene Overbaugh and brother-in-law, Howard Overbaugh.
Frank is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda Overbaugh Shupe and his children: Chrissy Harman and husband, Rocky of Maiden, NC and Frank Shupe and wife, Kathryn of Charlotte, NC. His grandaughters: Amanda Harman and Morgan Shupe and grandson, Curtis Smith. His siblings: Bob Shupe and wife, Ann of Bluewell, WV, Rose Jarrell of Bluewell, WV, and Mary Shupe and husband, Kent Foster of Pfaffiown, NC. He is also survived by his in-laws: Karen & Joe Miller of Anawalt, WV, Patty & Sandy Beverly of Premier, WV and Amanda Heffinger of Anawalt, WV. Frank is also leaving behind nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews including a special niece, Sherry Heffinger Walker who was like a daughter to him, and his special friends Dave and Anita Moore, Chuck Bahr, Larry Reed and Mike Moore.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 1:00PM with Rev. Donald Farmer and Rev. Jim Blevins officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park where Frank Shupe, Steve Heffinger, Jon Miller, Stan Overbaugh, Chris Walker, Jason Walker, David Miller and Justin Beverly will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers are Jacob Walker and Trace Miller.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
