Frank Hoge “Peanut” Perdue, Jr., 73, of Bluefield, West Virginia passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018 at the Maples in Bluefield, West Virginia.
Peanut was born on July 20, 1945 in Bluefield, West Virginia to the late Frank and Lula Evelyn Perdue. He had been a lifelong resident of Bluefield, West Virginia where he worked as a Gas Station Clerk.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his mother in law Dorothy Shrader and brother in law Daniel Belcher.
Peanut is survived by his wife of 44 years Peggy Belcher Perdue of the home; daughter Rebecca Hylemon and boyfriend Mike of Bluefield, West Virginia; one son Jason Perdue of Bluefield, West Virginia three grandsons Bryse Puckett, Brayden Puckett and Gabriel Adkins and one granddaughter Melody Perdue. Two sister’s JoAnn French and husband Bill of Bluewell, West Virginia and Sandy Veneri and husband Randall of Bluefield, West Virginia. Special aunt and second mother May Smothers of Bluefield, West Virginia and Nephew Larry Smothers of Bluefield, West Virginia.
Funeral services for Peanut will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia with Rev. Melissa White officiating the service. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, Virginia where friends and family will be serving as pallbearers.
The Perdue family will receive friends and relatives on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. (Noon) until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral Home.
