Frances Mabe

Frances D. Mabe, 92, of Lorton Lick Road, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born on December 5, 1924 in McComas, she was a daughter of the late William and Vida Hawks Davidson. She had been a resident of Bluefield and Rock for most of her life and was a member of the Montcalm Primitive Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and was a former bookkeeper for Poca Fuel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Marvin Mabe; daughter Kathy Pruitt; and a grandson, Little Eddie Mabe. She was the last surviving member of her family. Survivors include: Sons: Ronnie Mabe and Brenda of Glenwood Eddie Mabe and Pam of RockDaughter: Peggy Dunford and Freddy of Bluefield 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, September 18,2017 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Elder Jimmy Boothe and Rev. Robert Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
