Francis Louise Chandler, 91, of King, NC, formerly of Bluefield (Midway), went home to be with her Lord on Friday, March 1, 2019.
Born in Ironton, OH on June 6, 1927, Francis moved to Bluefield in the early 1940’s where she spent the majority of her life as a housewife and mother to her two daughters. She attended Midway Church of Christ, where she was an active member, until moving to King, NC.
Francis was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ethel Sprouse Stewart. She was also preceded in death by her husband Glen Alford Chandler, two daughters, Brenda Jean Osborne and Nancy Lee Chandler; one brother and five sisters.
Francis is survived by her grandson and caregiver, Kevin Osborne (Becky) of Pinnacle, NC along with three other grandchildren, eight grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by one sister, Hazel Bundy of Ironton, OH.
In honor of Francis, a service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 4:00PM at the Mid-Way Christian Church, 3014 Big Laurel Highway, Bluefield, WV, 24701 with Minister Dan Webb officiating.
