Flora Bell Lewis-Perdue, 89, of Bluefield, (Green Valley), WV passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018 at her residence.
Florabell was a lifelong resident of Bluefield and was born on March 28, 1929 to the late John Lewis and Rachel Hoops Lewis. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and will be sadly missed.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Bonnie Lee Perdue.
Survivors are her children Caroline Perry of Bluefield, WV; Jimmy Perdue of Bluefield, WV; Richard and wife Sherry Perdue of Bluefield, WV; Michael and wife Krystal Perdue of Blacksburg, VA and Ruth and husband Doug Bates of NC. Siblings Flossie Wilson of Roanoke, VA, Nancy Lewis of Roanoke, VA, Pauline Kinder of Roanoke, VA, Jack Lewis of Roanoke, VA and James Lewis of Bluefield, WV. She is also survived by six grandchildren Churck Perry and wife Leona of Bluefield, WV, Troy Perdue of Bluefield, WV, Melissa Mathews of NC, Adam Bates of NC, Susan Perry and companion David Stump of NC and Michael and Robin Waddell of NC. and nine great grandchildren Brian Perdue, Austin Perdue, Charles Perry, Lil' Chucky Perry, Breana Perdue, Taylor Bates, Brittany Godfrey, Robbie Godfrey and Ronnie Caldwell.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Pastor Craig Hammond officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with friends and relatives officiating the service.
