Evelyn Rose Poff

Evelyn Rose Poff, 89, of Littlesburg Road, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020 at Princeton Health Care in Princeton.

Born on July 20, 1930 in Mercer County, she was a daughter of the late Richard Nesbit and Edith Bell Nesbit. She had been a lifelong resident of Mercer County. She was a homemaker and former volunteer cosmetologist at The Maples.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edward Poff, Jr. ; a daughter, Valinda Rose Poff; 6 sisters and 1 brother.

Survivors include her sons, Rick (Heather) Poff of Princeton, WV; Eddie Poff of Cool Ridge, WV, and Randy Poff of NC; 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; a sister, Ellen Elliott; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Gary Raulerson officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Friends may call prior to services on Wednesday, from 12:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.
