Eric Matthew Lambert

Eric Matthew Lambert, 37, of Princeton, WV, formerly of Bramwell, WV, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born on April 23, 1982 in Bluefield, he was a son of Tina Sells Lambert and the late Gary Matthew Lambert. He had been a lifelong resident of Bramwell and was a construction worker. Eric was a devoted father,brother,son,uncle,cousin, and friend. He left a special mark in the lives of all who knew him. His heart was so humble, and his smile would light up any room. Eric found the positive side in any situation and always encouraged others to do the same. To his family, he was the rock, the peacemaker, and the confidant. He will be remembered by all who knew him for the magic in his presence and that big bright smile. Eric lived to make others laugh, playing basketball, listening to music; but above everything, he loved being a Dad and Uncle. Family and friends will forever celebrate his life. He has wings and now it’s his time to fly.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Larry Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where Derick Lambert, Brian Marshall, Carl Lee Lambert, Albert Smith, Chad Thompson, Kaleb Falin, Eric Dawson and Michael S. Hall will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Hall, Brad Petticoat, Benji Lambert, Steven Webb and Brian Cosby.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
