Ella Mae Warden

Ella Mae Warden, 74, of Bluefield, WV, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at the Mercer Nursing and Rehab Center in Bluefield.

Born on February 28, 1945 in McDowell County, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Virginia Lawless Thomason. She had been a resident of Bluefield for 45 years and was retired from Rite-Aid in Bluewell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Jimmy Warden; 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

Survivors include her daughter, Michella Webb of Bluefield; son, Todd “Mountain” Warden of Tazewell, VA; step-daughter, Lisa House of Tazewell, VA; step-son, Butch Johnson, of SC; three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild with one on the way.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, January 10, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Shawn Bragg officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call on Friday from 1:00-2:00 at the funeral home.
