Elizabeth Geneva Cartwright, 81, of Main Coke Oven Road Pageton, West Virginia passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Dogwood Crossing Nursing Home in Tazewell, Virginia. Elizabeth was born on October 06, 1935 in Litwar, West Virginia to the late Bert and Mary Virginia Griggs Price. She had been a resident of Pageton for the past fifty years and was of the Pentecostal of Holiness faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd E. Cartwright. She is survived by her son Glen Ray Cartwright of Pageton, West Virginia; one daughter Barbara Jean Cartwright Hunt and husband Kenneth of Princeton, West Virginia. Two brothers Paul Price of Archdale, North Carolina and Bobby Lee Price of Archdale, North Carolina. Two sisters Mildred Price Hill of Archdale, North Carolina and Brenda Holleman of Archdale, North Carolina. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Cryptside rites will be held on Friday, June 02, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Grandview Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Bluefield, Virginia with Rev. Donnie Farmer officiating the service. Entombment will follow the Cryptside service. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the Mausoleum by 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in honor of Mrs. Cartwright to a church building fund of your choice or to a local hospice organization.
