Eleanor Ruth Hedrick

Eleanor Ruth Hedrick, 83 of Red Oak Ridge Road, Bluefield, West Virginia entered her eternal resting place on Tuesday, December 03,2019 at Princeton, WV

Ruth was born on November 03, 1936 in Coopers, West Virginia to the late Arthur and Alice Mitchell Hedrick. Ruth was a homemaker and a loving caretaker to her family. She loved to read her Bible and garden. Ruth never had children of her own, but was a second mother to Earl Balthis and Laura Poe Ball. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters; Teresa Shrader, Dorothy "Dot" Bryant, Virginia "Jenny" Balthis, Juanita Mitchem, Pearl Gearhart. Brothers; Eugene Hedrick and Fred Hedrick.

Ruth is survived by special niece and caretaker Debbie Mitchem. Nieces; Laura Poe Ball, Tami Clark, Kecia Foor and Christine “Kissy” Bordeaux. Nephews; Earl Balthis, Melvin Gregg and David Poe. Ruth will be truly missed by all that had the opportunity to know her. 

In keeping with Aunt Ruth’s wishes she was cremated, and the family will plan a celebration of her life at a later day.
