Eleanor Ann Wagers

Eleanor Ann Wagers, 89, of Gary, West Virginia passed away on Sunday, February 02, 2020 at McDowell Nursing and Rehab in Gary, West Virginia.

Eleanor was born on June 08, 1930 in Welch, West Virginia to the late Michael Krajc and Sophia Cvajniga Krajc. She was a lifelong resident of Welch, West Virginia and a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Gary, West Virginia.

In addition to her parents Eleanor was precede in death by her husband Walter Wagers, Sr and her siblings Mary Bezenar, Joseph Krajc, Edward Krajc, Cyril Krajc, twins Mary and Matthew Krajc, Anna Krajc, Albert Krajc, Sr., Stephen Krajc and Louis Krajc.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Wagers of Gary, West Virginia and son Walter Wagers, Jr and wife Trease of Bluff City, Tennessee. Three grandchildren; one step grandson, three great grandchildren and one step great granddaughter. She was the last member of her family.

Christian Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 04, 2020 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Gary, West Virginia with Father Binny Mulackal officiating the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluefield, West Virginia with Sonny Castle, Jim Castle, John Castle, Bob Rose Jr., Mark Doss, Anthony Miano, Sammy Miano, David Doss and Josh Little serving as pallbearers. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Albert M. Krajc, Bobby Rose Sr., David Drake and Albert Krajc, Jr.

The Wagers family will receive friends and family on Tuesday, February 04, 2020 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Gary, West Virginia.
