Edward Dallas Rose

Edward Dallas Rose, 72, of Bluefield, formerly of Anawalt, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at his home. Born on January 20, 1945 in Gary, he was a son of the late Drewery and Leona Hart Rose. Before his health failed, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He attended the Bluefield VA Church of God. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy, Clayton and Howard Rose; and his sisters, Jane Lyall and Carol Brown. Survivors include: one brother, Eugene Rose and wife Thelma of Taylor, MI; four sisters, Betty Glass of Donalsonville, GA, Frances Sadler and husband Danny of Bluefield, Ruby Rose of Bluefield, Linda Sadler and husband Tommy, Sr. of Bluefield; sister in law, Alice Rose of Lincoln Park, MI; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 11:00AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Pastor Tony Ellis and Associate Pastor Tommy Sadler, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA where Tommy Sadler, Jr., Matthew Sadler, Danny Sadler, Bobby Brown, Kenneth Howell, and Walter Kidd will serve as pallbearers.
