Earnest Walter Mitchell

                  Earnest Walter Mitchell, 75, of Packing Plant Road Bluefield, WV passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017 at his residence.                 Earnest was born on February 28, 1942 in Mercer County West Virginia to the late Howard W. Mitchell and Bessie Shrader Mitchell. Earnest had been a lifelong resident of Bluefield, West Virginia and was a self-employed jack of all trades.                 In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one Brother Roy C. Mitchell.                 Survivors include his wife of 54 years Nettie J. Bennett Mitchell of the home and one brother Dale B. Mitchell and wife Patty of Bluefield, West Virginia.                 In keeping with Earnests wishes he was cremated and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 11:00AM at the New Cornerstone Independent Baptist Church, 100 Kelly Street, Princeton, WV 24740.                 Online condolences will be accepted at www.cravens-shires.com
