Dorothy E. Presnell

Dorothy E. Presnell (Maw), 81, of Bluewell, WV, died peacefully in her home on December 16, 2023.

She was born in Goodwill, WV in 1942 to Fizer and Treecie Taylor. Dorothy was a graduate of Bramwell High School before starting a 40-year career in the banking industry where she started as teller and worked her way up to an officer. She also dedicated 16 years to opening her home to foster care in which she took care of over 50 children. 

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings, and is survived by her daughters Jody Delida and Katlin Yost, (Bobby Yost), grandsons Trey Delida, and Nick Delida, (Summer Delida), a host of nieces and nephews, and her favorite grand-pup Jax. 

Visitation will be held for family and friends on December 20, 2023 from 5:00pm-6:00pm at Cravens Shires Funeral Home.
