Dorothy Helen Cordle

Dorothy Helen Cordle, age 86, of Northfork, WV died on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Westwood Center in Bluefield, VA.

Born on September 14, 1933 in Elkhorn, WV, she was a daughter of the late William D. and Bertha Yates Miller. She had lived in Northfork her entire life and was of the Methodist Faith. She was a retired office worker and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Cordle and a brother, Donald R. Miller.

Daughter: Rhonda Jones of Bluefield, WV

Sister: Martha Widner of Northfork, WV

Half-Sister: Betty Blankenship of Princeton, WV

Grandchildren: Scott Sizemore and wife Angie of Charlotte, NC

                           Daniel Sizemore of Christiansburg, VA

Great-Granddaughter: Addison Sizemore of Charlotte, NC

She is also survived by special friend John Taylor of Bluewell, WV as well as several nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Mark Smearman officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens where her family and friends will be pallbearers. Friends may call on Friday from 12:00-1:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.
