Donald Lee Thomas

Donald Lee Thomas, 68, of Bramwell, WV passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Wednesday, May 08, 2019 at Select Specialty Hospital in Charleston, WV following a short illness.
Donald was born December 27, 1950 in Bluefield, WV to the late Caudill and Hazel Warner Thomas.
Donnie Lee was a US Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War and a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America. He was a former employee of National Coil, Radford Arsenal, Smith Services and retired from Boxley in Bluefield, VA.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers; Dickie Thomas and Mike Thomas.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 37 years Deborah Otey Thomas of the home; Daughters April Bailey and husband Paul of Brushfork, WV; Amber Thomas and companion John White of Bramwell, WV and Megan Thomas of the home. Grandchildren; Aidan, Korbin, Braeson, Addisyn Bailey and Malik “MooMoo” Thomas. He is also survived by two brothers James Thomas and wife Pam of Raleigh, NC and Danny Thomas and wife Linda of Brushfork, WV.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 1:00pm at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Pastor Gerald Manning officiating the service. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, WV with The Mercer County Veterans Honor Guard conducting military graveside rites. Serving as pallbearers will be John White, Paul Bailey, Korbin Bailey, Braeson Bailey, Dwayne Thomas and Jamie Sluss.
The Thomas family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
