Donald Davis Lucas, Jr.

Donald Davis Lucas, Jr., 62, of Princeton, WV went to be in the arms of Jesus on Monday, December 13, 2021 at Princeton Community Hospital surrounded by his loving family, after a long courageous battle. He won the war! He was born on December 3, 1959 at Holden in Lincoln County. He was the son of the late Donald Lucas, Sr.,(Tiny) and Mae Lucas of Lincoln County. He was of the Christian faith and proudly served his Heavenly Father in all that he did. He was the proud owner of CBS Industrial Tooling LLC for 23 years located in Princeton, WV.  He had a big heart and a strong belief in the protection of God’s unborn children. He was always willing to help others and welcomed all with open arms.

In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Mike and Jody Lucas, both of Lincoln County; and one sister, Tawyana Fleming of Maryland.

Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife Patti Lucas of 28 years; daughter, Leah and son, Dillon, both of the home; three sisters, Donna Kay and Tom Miller of Branchland, WV, Phyllis and Harry Kirk, and Brenda and Rod Baker, and one brother, Ron and Sharon Lucas, all of Ranger, WV; special friends include those whom he worked and mentored to throughout the years, Bernard Ashby, Savanna Stafford, Charlie and Carol Roark, Sandy Alderman, Kurt Snyder, Lydia Davis, and William Jones. Don, just was simply the best!

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Benny Bleigh officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens where Dillon Lucas, Ron Lucas, Nathan Kirk, Will Miller, Conrad Lucas, Rowdy Baker, Brandon Kirk, and Phillip Kirk will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry O’Donnell, Terry O’Donnell, Lee O’Donnell, Johnny Repass, Lydia Davis, Savanna Stafford, and Kurt Snyder. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.cravens-shires.com.
