Donald Ray Lawrence, 76, of Maple Acres Road, Princeton, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 at his home.
Born on July 10, 1942 in Tazewell, Va, he was a son of the late Harry and Lottie Lawrence. He was a precision grinder and machinist for Black and Decker. He was a US Army veteran and served in Vietnam in the 101st Airborne, 82nd Airborne, and 173rd Airborne.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Rosemary Booksha.

6 grandchildren: Samantha, Jennell, Charles and wife Victoria, Jessie, Like, Olivia

Sister: Linda (Paul) Wisner
and his Furry Friend: Anubis
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Pastor Fred Myers officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 11:30 AM until service time at the funeral home.
