Dianne Jarvis

Dianne Jarvis, 67, of Lashmeet, departed her family, her friends and her love of life on 12/07/17. Dianne was a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and a friend to many. Dianne graduated from Bluefield High School and attended Bluefield State College. Dianne had a passion for music and was an accomplished piano player. She loved her grandchildren and children, her animals, Duke Basketball, Garth Brooks, reading and planting her garden in the spring.  Dianne’s favorite place was the beach especially the Beach Bar and Grill at Carolina Beach, NC enjoying a margarita or a cold Rolling Rock. Each morning Dianne would drink a cup of coffee and watch the birds with her fur buddies on her farm.  Those who knew Dianne knew her heart and passion for life and her compassion for those she cared for. Dianne is preceded in death by her daughter Rachel Jarvis, father Donald Hunnell and mother Jean Macgruder Hunnell. Those left to cherish her memory are: husband Dennis Jarvis, son Dennis Jarvis, II and wife Lori Daniels Jarvis, son Joey Jarvis and wife Rhonda Jarvis, Daughter Amanda Dianne Jarvis, Grandchildren: Seth Fisher, Samantha Jarvis, Rachel Fisher and Nick Jarvis. Services will be held at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell WV. Friends and family may visit on Monday December 11th from 5:30pm-7:00pm.  A Christian wake service will take place immediately after from 7:00pm-7:30pm with Deacon Don Hammond officiating.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday December 12th at 10:00am with Rev. Craig Hammond officiating. Bruce Jarvis, Bobby Jarvis, Kenneth Williams, Robert Hyatt, Seth Fisher, and Joey Matthews will serve as pallbearers. Burial will follow Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to Second Chance for Cats, 874 Littlesburg Road, Bluefield, WV 24701. Online condolences will be accepted at www.cravens-shires.com.
