Diane L Gillespie Gills

Diane L. Gillespie Gills of 325 Third Street in Bluefield, WV went to be with the Lord on July 16, 2020 at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.  Diane was a life long resident of Bluefield, WV.  She was a housekeeper for many years and was the personal housekeeper of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert of Bluefield, WV.

Diane loved music, dancing, flea markets, yard sales, the outdoors, her animals, and dearly loved her family.  She is preceded in death by her mother and father, her nannie and papaw, two brothers, two sisters, and her husband, Roger Gills.

Those left to cherish Diane’s memory are her sister, Linda K. Lester of Princeton, WV; Rickey Dillow and wife, Lisa, of Brushfork, WV, Tommy Dillow and wife, Nancy, of Green Valley, WV; Nieces, Lisa and Mary Lester of Princeton, WV, Michelle Folks of Roanoke, VA, Candace Lester of Princeton, WV; Nephews and Nieces, Mark Lovell, Brooklyn Lovell, Riley Lovell, Liam Lovell, all of Lakeland, FL; Special niece, Rhonda Neal; Grandkids, Christian, Calob, Gracie, and Finn, all of whom she loved and adored; her caretakers, Paige Carter and Mary Lester who never left her side when she was at home. They took exceptional care of her and showed her love beyond measure.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Living Water Fellowship Church, 417 Old Bramwell, Rd., Bluefield, WV 24701, with Rev. Larry “Buck” Hagerman officiating.  Diane was cremated at her request and will be laid to rest with her husband, Roger Gills.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Cravens-Shires Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
