Diana Ruth Bowles

Diana Ruth Aguire Bowles, 74, of Bluefield, West Virginia was called to be with our Lord on Monday, June 24, 2019 after an extended illness. She passed away peacefully with her husband David by her side. 

Diana was born on Sunday, February 18, 1945 in Welch, West Virginia to the late Raymond Aguire and Ethel Powers Aguire Edwards. Diana was a graduate of Northfork High School and retired from Sears with 25 years of employment. She was a faithful member of her community and of the First Baptist Church of Bluewell, West Virginia.

In addition to her parents Diana was preceded in death by her stepfather, Elmer Edwards; brothers, Raymond and Warren Aguire and her sisters, Lucille Aguire and Lois Aguire Bowles.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, David L. Bowles; her children and their families, Jeffery Bowles and wife Chassidy of Kissimmee, Florida; Dwayne Bowles and wife Trista of Lewisburg, West Virginia; Daughter, Angela King and husband Donald of Charleston, West Virginia; one brother, Johnny Edwards and wife Barbara of Illinois. Diana was the proud, loving grandmother to seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Cryptside service will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia at 1:00 pm with Rev. James Milam officiating the service.

Those wishing to attend the Cryptside service are asked to meet at Woodlawn Mausoleum by 1:00 pm.
