Dexter Lee Huff, 76, of Anawalt, WV, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017 at his home. Born on June 29, 1940 in Carroll County, VA, he was a son of the late Gleve G. and Ibra E. Mitchell Huff. He had been a resident of Pageton for most of his life and was a member of the Conlinktown Church of God. He was a retired coal miner for CONSOL and was a member of the UMWA. Survivors include: Loving wife of 57 years: Selma Sadler Huff of the home Sons: Timmy Huff of Pageton Brian Huff and wife Pam of Anawalt Grandchildren: Kimberly and Kevin Richardson of Princeton Justin Huff and Kaitlyn Poff of Princeton TJ and Bianca Huff of Norman, OK Great grandchild: Logan Richardson of Princeton Brothers: Tommy huff and wife Kat of Athens David Huff and wife Sherry of Galax, VA Sisters: Sadie Moore of Hillsville, VA Betty Branscome of Hillsville, VA Lucille Bishop and husband Clyde of Floyd, VA Peggy Cox of Floyd, VA Trisha Birchfield and husband Jimmy of Isaban Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 2:00PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Steve Webb and Rev. jerry Graham officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Daniel Bishop, Mark Cox, Jacob Muncy, David Huff, TJ Huff, and Woody Church serving as pallbearers.
