Derek Anthony Mullins

Derek Anthony Mullins, 35, of Bluefield, WV, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Lewis Gale Montgomery in Blacksburg, VA. Born June 7, 1985 in Castlewood, VA, Derek was a son of Jeff and Michelle Booher Mullins. Derek was a motor winder for Komatsu Joy Global and attended the Church of the Living God. He was an amazing husband, father, and son.

Derek was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Mary Booher.

Those left to cherish Derek’s memory are his wife, Jennifer Warden Mullins; sons, Derek Jeffrey (DJ) Mullins, Jasper Wayne Mullins, and Elijah Lee Mullins; parents, Jeff and Michelle Mullins of Castlewood, VA; paternal grandparents, Tom and Della Mullins of Castlewood, VA; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Teddy and Rita Warden of Bluewell, WV; grandparents-in-law, Teddy and Virginia Warden of Montcalm, WV, and Alfred and Goldie Keller of Bluewell, WV.

Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Teddy Warden and Rev. Mark Pennington officiating.  Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
