Denny Gene Presley

Denny Gene Presley, 79, of Augusta Street, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Princeton Community Hospital.

Born on April 28, 1941 in Jenkinjones, he was a son of the late Harold and Metta Tolbert Presley. He had been a resident of Bluefield for most of his life and was retired from Flowers Bakery where he was a member of the Teamsters Union. He was US Army veteran and served 3 tours in Vietnam.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Clark Presley of the home; 4 sons, Tracey Presley of OR, Denny Presley, Jr. of CA, Randy Presley of TX, and Kenny Presley of SC; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Steve Umberger officiating. Burial will follow Grandview Memorial Gardens in Bluefield, VA. Military honors will be conducted by the Mercer County Veterans Honor Guard.

Friends may call on Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
