Delmas Wayne Devor, age 80, of Bluefield, WV died on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at his home.Born on March 12, 1937, in Bluefield, VA, he was a son of the late Roy and Eva Walker Devor. He had been a resident of Bluefield for the past 50 years and was retired as a purchasing agent from Industrial Plating & Machine in Princeton. He attended the Princeton First Assembly of God, in Princeton, where he served as usher and greeter for many years .He was a veteran of the US Army. He loved walking in the parking lot at the Mercer Mall.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Wellman Devor and a brother, Pierce Edward Devor.Survivors include:Daughter: Julie Devor Orr and husband Darrell of PrincetonBrother: William “Bill” Devor and wife Patricia of Bluefield, VASister: Wanda Waddle of Galax, VAGrandson: Anthony OrrNumerous extended family members, nieces and nephewsFuneral services will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 2:00 at the Princeton First Assembly of God on New Hope Road, Princeton, WV with Rev. Dan Moore and Rev. David Hercey officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Serving as pallbearers will be Carey Wellman, Ken Hall, Tommy Roberts, Carl Carter, Wes Cline, and Dusti Snider. Friends may call on Tuesday from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at the Church prior to the service.
