David Ricky Sells

David Ricky Sells, age 65, of Maybeury, WV, died on Monday, June 17, 2019 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, KY.

Born on June 8, 1954, in Bluefield, WV, he was a son of the late Roby and Nancy Victoria Johnson Sells. He had lived in Maybeury all of his life and was a retired coal miner with 10 years of service. He was a member of the Montcalm Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, brother and son.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters Renee Overton  and Pamela Young and one brother Bradley Sells. 

Survivors include; his son, Michael Sells of Maybeury, a daughter, Tonya Mills and husband Bobby of Bluefield, VA, three brothers; Joe Sells and wife Vickie of Bluefield, WV, Sammy Sells and Wanda of Abingdon, VA, Timmy Sells of Murphy, NC, two sisters; Tina Lambert of Bramwell, WV, Robin Jennings of Bluewell, WV, and three grandchildren; Bobby Lee Mills and fiancée Sarah Dietz, Amelia Sells, and Miranda Sells.

Funeral Services for Mr. Sells will be conducted Monday June 24, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Roberts officiating. Entombment will follow at the Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery located in Bluewell. Serving the family as Pallbearers will be; Bobby Lee Mills, Adam Murray, Corey Nipper, Travis Childers, Michael Sells, and Brian Sells.

Friends may call Sunday June 23, 2019 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home located in Bluewell.
