David Ray Price, Jr.

David Ray Price, Jr., 41, of Bluefield, VA, gained his wings on Friday, November 26, 2021. Heaven gained an earth angel to sing around their throne. He lived with his parents at their residence.

David was born on December 20, 1979 in Princeton, to David Ray Price, Sr. and Maxine Lynn Hubbard Price. David was the only child and will always be the love of his parent’s life. He’s their world and will cherish forever golden memories within their hearts. David has a large host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends to cherish his memories.

David was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James Henry Price and Myrtle Maxine Angles Price; maternal grandparents, Paul Clarence Hubbard and Hazel Jane White Hubbard Mills; and a step grandfather, Jerry Calvin Mills.

David enjoyed his life to the fullest. Throughout his life he had the pleasure of going to different places due to his fathers military career. He enjoyed sports and played softball, soccer, football and bowling, David also enjoyed watching the WVU Mountaineers, Graham G-Men, and Bluefield Beavers. David graduated from Robert G. Cale High School in San Antonio, TX on May 22, 1998. David had two college degrees in accounting and business managements. He was a member of the North Narrows Tabernacle of Narrows, VA.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Pastor Paul Terry and David Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call prior to services, from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.
