David Ray Chambers

David Ray Chambers, 63, of Bramwell, West Virginia, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. David was born July 18, 1955 in Welch to the late Floyd and Zollie Owens Chambers. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Bryant Chambers and two step-sons, Dewayne Blankenship and Michael Coleman; 5 brothers and 1 sister. Left to cherish his memory are three grandsons, one granddaughter, two great-grandchildren and sisters, Carol Walker of South Carolina and Wanda Gibson of Pie, WV.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Dr. Doug Hyndrich officiating. Interment will follow at Iaeger Memorial Cemetery in Roderfield, West Virginia. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Serving as pall bearers will be Jonathan Blankenship, Travis Blankenship, Michael Blankenship, Tommy Spaldin, and Steven Mckinney.
