David Allen Bowles

David Allen Bowles, 61, of Montcalm, WV, passed Thursday, April 18, 2024, at WVU Medicine PCH Bluefield ER. Born March 15, 1963, on Fort Eustis Army Base in Newport News, VA, he was a son of Mary Wagner Howard and the late Russell Lee Bowles, Sr. David was a US Veteran, serving in the United States Navy. He was a retired maintenance worker. In addition to his father, David was preceded in death by his son, Jared Bowles. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Mary Lou Wagner Howard, of the home; step-father, Charles Howard of Montcalm, WV; brothers, Russell Lee Bowles, Jr., of Duhring, WV, Steve Bowles of Asheboro, NC, and Michael Howard of Montcalm, WV; and sister, Laura Anderson of Princeton, WV. In keeping with David’s wishes, he is to be cremated and no public services are to be held. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Bowles family.
