Darrell Quizenbeury, Sr.

Darrell Warner Quizenbeury, Sr., 68, of Princeton, WV passed away at home on Sunday, August 18, 2019, surrounded by his devoted wife and children.

Darrell was born on May 4, 1951, in Maybeury, WV, the son of the late Daniel Ward Quizenbeury, Sr. and Della Warner Quizenbeury.

Darrell is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Mary A. Meadows Quizenbeury; son, Darrell Warner Quizenbeury, Jr. (DJ); daughters, Christy Danielle Quizenbeury Dunford, Jamie Nicole Quizenbeury Meadows, and Maribeth Quizenbeury. Darrell is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Kasey Nicole Williams and Laken Dunford.

Surviving siblings include Donna W. Quizenbeury Perry (John) of Princeton, WV; Doris W. Quizenbeury Ward (Thomas) of Palmyra, VA.; Deborah W. Quizenbeury Watkins (Don) of Bluff City, TN; and Daniel W. Quizenbeury Jr. (Melissa) of Maybeury, WV.  Survivors also include numerous nieces and nephews.

Darrell is a 1971 graduate of Northfork-Elkhorn High School.  Darrell served in the United States Navy from 1971 to 1975.  After graduation and his Naval service, Darrell and brother Danny worked for their Dad during the formative years of Maybeury Plumbing and Heating.  Darrell had been retired for several years having worked many years at U. S. Steel, in Gary, WV, at Industrial Gas of Bluefield, WV, at the Federal Prison in Pocahontas, VA and at Princeton Community Hospital.   He is a member of the former Maybeury Methodist Church.

Darrell has been cremated and pursuant to his request, there will be no service.
