Darless Lee Akers

Darless Lee Akers, 75, of Princeton was ushered into the arms of Jesus early morning, August 25, 2021, with her loving family by her side. Born April 28, 1946 in Lerona, Wva, she was the daughter of the late Clinton Edward and Katherine Frances Lawson Witt. She was a faithful member of Fairview Christian Church in Princeton. Darless Lee was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by four siblings, Doris Ann Thompson, Ron Witt, Melissa Price and Mary Johnston. Those left to cherish her memory, her devoted husband of 53 years, Bennie "Jackie" Akers; two loving sons and two loving daughters, Bennie Akers Jr and wife Amy, Darlene Fain and husband Donald, Brian Akers and wife Michelle and April Lawrence. Ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; Siblings, Charlotte Roten and Patricia Pendleton; Several niece's and nephew's. Services to celebrate the life of Darless Lee Akers will be held 12:00 P.M to 2:00 P.M then services at 2:00 P.M Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at the Cravens Shires funeral home in Bluewell with Pastor Scott Roten officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery in Bluefield Va. Friends may visit with the family Tuesday from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Donald and Robert Fain, Keith Akers, Dustin Buchanan, Josh Bolen and Tony Akers
