Danny Farmer

Come to me, all you are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. –MATTHEW 1:28-30

Danny Ralph (Dan-O) Farmer, 65, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center.

Born on July 31, 1953 in Welch, he was a son of the late Vernal Ralph “Preacher” Farmer and Virginia “Jenny” Farmer. He had been a lifelong resident of Pageton and was a disabled US Army veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Juanita Davis.

Survivors include:

Brother: Kenneth Farmer and wife Mary of Ludowici, GA

Sisters: Brenda Valach and husband Ted of Princeton
Kathy Huff and husband Tommy of Princeton
Carolyn Dillon of Princeton
Darlene Pinter and husband Mark of Princeton

Danny’s wishes were to be cremated with no services. Thanks to all the people for their kind words and acknowledgements of sympathy.
