After fighting a long battle of kidney disease, Heaven gained another Angel on May 17, 2022. Danny Eugene Conley, 54, of PO Box 372 Montcalm, WV, peacefully departed this life at his home with his family by his side.
Born on January 26, 1968, in Bluefield, WV he is the son of Mildred Johnson Conley of Sandlick Rd. Bluefield, WV and the late Rev. John Bert Conley. HE was a graduate of Montcalm High School and was a disabled truck driver for Cook Trucking in Mt. Airy, NC. He was also a Glass Glazer for Bluefield Glass and a carpenter. He was a devoted husband, father, and a Christian who loved our Savior Jesus Christ.
He loved to hunt, fish, and the outdoors. He loved being around people, especially kids, who many considered him their hero. He never met a stranger, had a heart of gold, and was always willing to help a person in need.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his only daughter, Courtney Danielle Conley; brothers, James (Jimmy) Conley, John Wesley Conley, and Alfred Conley; sister, Barbara Jones; half-brothers, Carol William Conley, Jerry Wayne Conley, and John Bert Conley, Jr.; and half-sister Patricia Ann Hubbard.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Teressa Duncan Conley of the home; son, Tyler Daniel Conley of the home; brothers, Rick Conley and wife Vickie of Browning Lambert Mtn and Sherman Conley of Bluefield, WV; sisters, Wanda Hicks of Sandlick Rd. Bluefield, WV, Shelia Roberts and husband Chris of Sandlick Rd. Bluefield, WV. A special great-great niece, Emberly Bailey who he thought of as a granddaughter and special great-great nephew, Kasen Bailey who he thought of as a grandson. As well as a host of other family members and friends.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate his life on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV with Rev. Teddy Warden officiating. Burial will follow at Shillings Conley Cemetery on Browning Lambert Mountain where friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may visit from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, May 20, 2022 at the funeral home.
