Dannie Frank Sarver, Sr.

Dannie Frank Sarver, Sr., 80, of Bluewell, West Virginia passed away on Monday, June 10, 2019 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia.

Dannie was born on Friday, December 30, 1938 in Tazewell County, Virginia to the late Frank and Virginia Shrader Sarver. Dannie was retired from Coppinger with 30 years of service. He had been a resident of Bluewell, West Virginia for the past 65 years and was a member of Church by Christ Jesus in Pocahontas, Virginia.

In addition to his parents Dannie was preceded in death by his brothers, Donnie, Ricky and Bill Sarver; one son Terry Sarver, Sr.; grandson, Mike Sarver and son-in-law, Benny Horsley.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Joyce Ann Sarver of the home; one son, Dannie Frank Sarver, Jr. and wife Pam of Bluewell, West Virginia; two daughters, Tammy Yolanda Horsley of Penhook, Virginia and Kerri Sarver Parris and husband Ryan of Bluefield, West Virginia. Seven grandchildren, Adam Sarver and wife Melonie of Princeton, West Virginia, Laurie Sarver of North Carolina, Yolanda Holiday and husband Evan of Wirtz, Virginia, Brittany Horsley of Penhook, Virginia, Kaulin, Presley and Greyson Parris of Bluefield, Virginia. Eight great grandchildren; Kailey, Addisyn, Adaline, Bennett, Nadia and Terry Reed, Zoe and Piper Holiday.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 7:00 pm at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia with Rev. Mike Gibson and Rev. Tommy Byrd officiating the service. Interment will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 12:00 pm (Noon) at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, West Virginia were Adam Sarver, Kaulin Parris, Evan Holiday, Sean Martin, Devin Lester and Keith Harman will be serving as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend the Graveside services are asked to meet at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home by 11:30 am Friday.

The Sarver family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
